Martial bards (swords and valor) is usually constructed pretty similarly to some Fighter, so races which perform being a Fighter will perform reasonably properly for a martial bard, but received’t excel with the Bard’s spellcasting and Exclusive abilities. If you intend to go this route, races which enhance your sturdiness are great selections.
